I finished Academy Street last night. It's a lovely novel, beautifully evocative, spanning six decades. Costello packs so much into a fairly short novel. #ReadingIrelandmonth25 💙📚
I've been away from social media for a couple of days, trying to ignore the rubbish that is going on.
Currently reading Academy Street by Mary Costello for #ReadingIrelandmonth25 another one I'm very late to the party with.

Weekend reading, devouring this romp through medieval texts while the author recovers from grief and reflects on other aspects of her life, with anecdotal medieval snippets, enough to entertain, intrigue and inform without overwhelming.
