Hate to break this to you, but there is no codified and singular Hellenic religion from antiquity. Each city state and region had their own focuses and sacred practices. So when you see practitioners talking about ancient Greek religion, that's misleading. 🧵

Today for Anthesteria (Ανθεστήρια) we welcomed spring with a parade, flowers, food & music. A festival of flowers originally to Dionysus (Διονύσης), 100s of years old, still alive. My new Altars to Aphrodite and Hera. I've been an Aphrodite devotee longer so hers includes my entire vanity while Hera is apart of my dresser. I'm very happy how they turned out and I hope they are too
