what an absolutely bizarre bit of concern trolling! "Imagine what that can do to a human body" well for one, we know that already, but muzzle velocity means nothing without projectile mass! they make airsoft guns that shoot 1000fps! you could kill more people with a kitchen knife!

Chinese firm Antgamer is planning to release a 1000Hz TN monitor in 2026, and published a white paper in collaboration with AMD into the hardware necessary to actually run games at 1000fps (ie probably an overclocked Ryzen 9800X3D). Their current model is 1080p 750Hz (!)

Implemented Vulkan version of the video playback system. Runs at over 1000fps with snyced audio(Via custom OpenAL sound system) - It uses a YUV shader so no costly cpu conversations required. (Uses FFMPEG internally, so supports most formats). #gamedev #indiedev #virtual3D

I have a PC that can run all their games at 1000fps, but they just openly resent the PC market.
I genuinely resent Vanillaware for their attitude towards PC ports.

Here's another isopropyl alcohol burn, but at 1000fps and in a much taller bottle. The oscillation still occurs in the upper portion of the bottle but once it reaches the middle there isn't enough air exchange for the rapid burn and it slows to a crawl with distinct texture. #highspeed #phantom

Bei 4K Auflösung, 1000fps und einem eingebauten RAM von 64GB kann für maximal 5 Sekunden mit der Kamera aufgenommen werden. Die Übertragung vom RAM auf einen externen Speicher dauert dann deutlich länger. So lange muss man dann warten, bis zur nächsten Aufnahme.
