Carl Munson documents a quick round-trip from São Martinho do Porto to Tavira to celebrate Johnny Cocktail’s 65th birthday, traveling via Rede Expressos with a change in Lisbon/Sete Rios. He shares the comfort of the buses (Wi‑Fi, charging, air conditioning), kills time at the Jardim Zoológico area café in Lisbon overlooking the alligators, and narrates the southbound ride over the 25 de Abril Bridge through the Alentejo into the Algarve with stops including Albufeira, Quarteira and Faro, arriving in Tavira over an hour late. He walks the riverside amid multiple music stages, joins the birthday festivities, then has morning-after bifanas and minis with Johnny. On the return, he encounters a service-station delay and describes an unexpected moment of support when a connecting coach waits so late passengers can make it home. 00:00 Trip Begins to Tavira 01:16 Arriving Lisbon Sete Rios 02:19 Zoo Cafe Break 05:23 Boarding Algarve Coach 07:07 Crossing 25 de Abril Bridge 11:42 Alentejo to Algarve Stops 14:07 Faro and Delays 17:53 Finally in Tavira 20:53 Evening Streets and Music 24:53 Birthday Night Out 25:18 Morning After Bifanas 27:22 Farewell and Return Bus 28:23 Homebound Setup 29:51 Breakdown Plot Twist 31:30 Connection Wait Surprise 34:32 Arriving Home Wrap Up
