😁 Thanks Bill. After cropping the full size one of this is still 28mp. So prints to a good size.

Any since the A7rVI can shoot crop mode at I'm told around 28mp, that will mean I can still use crop mode to push my 200-600 to be a 300-900 and still get the same or better quality than I do today. Or shoot full frame at 840mm with 2000-600 and the 1.4x teleconverter. Should be fun to have options.

Currently sitting in the school line to pick up the kiddos and I’ve been thinking about resolution. I recently learned that:
~28MP is good for a 16x20 print
~22MP is able to be printed at 13x19

If this MFT sensor becomes reality from Sony OM System and Panasonic Lumix cameras are going to get even better than they are now.

To be fair, Dragon Quest 2 was a kick to the chest after coming off Dragon Quest 1. :P I'm pretty sure the following lives rent-free in many of our heads:

"Puppet Man dances a strange jig. [Character] loses 28MP."

In France, there are two speed limits for e-bikes :
- 25km/h (16mp/h), autorised on cycle paths
- 45km/h (28mp/h), forbiden on cycle paths.

The latter are recommended for journeys outside urban areas, less well equipped with cycling infrastructure.

i have an nx300, nx500 and nx mini as well. i’m gonna get the 300 professionally converted. the nx500 has an absolutely incredible 28mp APS-C sensor to adapt to.

their aps-c lens lineup mostly wasn’t great on chromatic aberrations, alas, but perfect for b&w

nx mini lenses are fab tho

i see you’re new here

i agree but the sensor is still insane. and that’s comparing it to my other 24mp and 28mp mirrorless

the only reason i want FF is because i don't want my vintage lenses being "longer" than they are

the IQ out of my samsung nx500 28mp aps-c body is perfection as far as i care
