damn good point, I think people sometimes float the idea of Viola being a 2dimensional villain a lot but there's already a decent amount you can pull just from how specifically she goes about her plans

Exactly that. Because of the cuttings, pacing i cant really get into the characters 😢 the villains feel 2dimensional and even the main couple... beautiful cinematography but it feels cold & lifeless somehow. I probably just watch an edit of the main couple when it ends to enjoy their chemistry 😂

I mostly liked Bo in season 2… but his surface level story telling makes his characters feel so disconnected from their own stories. Like, why didn’t we get a single mention of Satine?
All of the complex characters just get “Disney washed” so they’re 2dimensional “heroes”
