#30kph
30kph zones for EVERY city, town and village. Mad roundabouts at the entrance of every village too.

French public holidays.

you don't wanna see the time I fell of a e scooter at 30kph in 2019 xD (wish I had motorcycle gloves)

Here in the EU the limit is 25kph and I mostly find that to be fine. Though one thing that irritates me is that here in Germany a “bike street” has a 30kph speed limit so it feels odd to cap it a 25 for an e-bike

40kph school zones, whoa, that's speedy, Canadian school zones are only 30kph. All that means is a different amount that the speeding tickets are written for when the SUV driving soccer moms do 50kph through the school zone.

It’s easier to contain multitudes if they’re inserted at 30kph on a sidewalk.

Helmet is behind. No way do I descend without a helmet. But up?? In the heat and sweat? At 9% I’m barely above walking pace and helmets barely do anything under 30kph…

One of my favourite sports! At the bottom of the big hill 4 miles into this ride that has the supermarket in Saint Maixent l’Ecole is a “trop vite 30kph” flashing sign. I reckon I trigger it 8 times out of 10.

On a good day, I can cruise at 30kph. I can push to hit 40kph. Getting to 48kph would have me throwing up in the gutter.

This just happened to me…in bike lane on right gutter, merged into the 30kph main road so I could turn left, had to pause on the extreme left of the lane to wait for oncoming traffic to clear, car behind me zoomed up 1 inch from my tire and layed on his horn, cursing and spitting at me

"(30kmph is laughably slow for a motorcycle)."

Yes, and how many people do you know that impacted their helmet at more than 30kph and walked away? The main advantage is the full face helmet that will protect the front of your face as you slide across the asphalt.

Now look up the standards.

30kph saves lives. There are proposals for 30kph in front of schools for limited hours. Please ask for the whole day and also the whole road. Also any other roads that need calming please include.

How many speeding tickets in 30kph residential zones have been issued? #richmondbc

If you're running for office this October in Comox and don't support 30kph residential streets you've already lost my vote. #comox #comoxvalley

Bike helmets are effective (depending on how you land) to about 15kph (depends a bit on your mass), motorcycle helmets are effective to around 30kph.

There's enough energy in you just falling over to crack your skull if you land badly (e.g. fall backwards).

There’s a bit of tension in the club atm, where brisk used to be 28-30kph and about 80-100km in distance, and is now edging to 30-32kph and 100-150km distance..fast group now average 32-34kph+😬

Op mijn stadsfiets rijd ik zeker geen 30kph.

For the outfielders below 30kph I think it's just that they haven't needed to properly sprint yet this season. Konsa/Eze/Zubumendi hit perfectly average pace numbers last year. Bruno is slow though

It was wild to drive on the track past the bleachers we'd been sitting in, and then see the rest of the track from that angle.

... and to go past the Wall of Champions at 30kph (that's the posted limit) and imagine an F1 car driving the course at 200+ mph.....

Cork City seems to lead w 30kph everywhere in city centre - micromobility, next gen traptions

You know cork city is tentacular, with many steep streets and roads - with a good many never going in some other parts of the city, towns

Small towns can spread some 4km

This only-a-traffic-engineer-could-possibly-want painted ‘flush-median’, is the cause. It has pushed the traffic lane into stealing people space. Who gets to use it? No-one! It is expressly reserved for nothing. In a traffic restricted 30kph people priority city centre street is so inappropriate.

Probably got away without it being worse as I was going pretty quick for me (30kph) and I very nearly cleared the car, but meant my skin had to slow me down when I hit the road 😬
Bike seems OK as well.
First time I've ever been knocked off, somehow...

Last year I inadvertently drove through some residential areas in NL. All at 30kph. Car didn't stall, I didn't have a nosebleed, walkers and kids on bikes were on the same streets without us all bumping into each other. Nice and quiet too, without all that tyre roar.

My town has many 30kph (18.6mph) streets. It requires some attention to keep to that speed, but then you should really be paying attention all the time when you are at the controls of ~2 tonnes of steel - so what's the problem?

New trains just make it slightly more pleasant to be stuck crawling through northern NB at 30kph or sidelined in Moncton waiting for the freight train to pass. Either way service is unreliable and you're gonna be late.
