Nice, just noticed that 3DSEN - a voxel graphics NES emulator (with a VR version too) left early access the other day, after yeaaaaars in the works.
It genuinely looks surprisingly cool in a lot of games. And in VR it feels like playing a living miniature plastic diorama.

Nice, just noticed that 3DSEN - a voxel graphics NES emulator (with a VR version too) left early access the other day, after yeaaaaars in the works.
It genuinely looks surprisingly cool in a lot of games. And in VR it feels like playing a living miniature plastic diorama.

I can harness the raw power of the Thor to run the PC version of 3dSen to emulate weird three dimensional versions of my favorite NES games—on the go! (But why would I? lol)

Ngl, I had never played a single Metroid game until a few years ago—back then I literally tweeted about it—and I started playing the original game in 3DSen (with a walkthrough) and had a great time overall

Ghosts 'n' Goblins looks solid enough (remember this looks better in motion) but of course if you're playing NES GnG in any respect you're already losing

I... don't think Ninja Gaiden III is an older adaptation either? I don't remember playing this in 3DSen before. But it looks good. I'm not gonna get more screencaps because this game is hard. But it looks good.
