In 1994 I was so hungry for MK klones the screen shots of this in magazines made me want a 3DO. A few years later when I got a job one of the first things I bought was a 3DO and kopy of WotW. 🤣
'Way of the Warrior' released on this day in 1994.
A particularly dire entry into the pantheon of digitzed fighters, by way of a still-fledgling Naughty Dog. On the plus side: It does feature a killer soundtrack by White Zombie, and introduced the world to "Shaky Jake."

Nothing groundbreaking, but I recently found a VHS tape of the D2 M2 intro demo. Slightly different than the digital versions included on 3DO CDs.
I think the colors come out better on the VHS.

My #3DO ODE menu has been updated.
Fixed: Xport units would hang at black screen and PAL machines would push the menu to the top of the screen and display junk below it.

Got a subscriber-exclusive post today on the Sept/Oct '95 issue of Japan's 3DO Magazine! This is a wonderful capsule of a very specific moment in time when the next gen of gaming felt like the future ~now~ and shows the hardware's strengths (and surprising diversity) well:
