#4Dflow
Early online view of our latest publication! Combining whole brain CVR mapping with 4Dflow MRI, we look at how macrovascular and microvascular function relate during adolescence: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...
Macrovascular blood flow and microvascular cerebrovascular reactivity are regionally coupled in adolescence - Kristina M Zvolanek, Jackson E Moore, Kelly Jarvis, Sarah J Moum, Molly G Bright, 2024
Cerebrovascular imaging assessments are particularly challenging in adolescent cohorts, where not all modalities are appropriate, and rapid brain maturation alt...

Totally agree. Like with all things radiology, I've heard some ML tools really cutting down scan time for 4dflow, and I'm sure analysis will continue to speed up. It's too cool a technique to not keep pushing towards translation. Also, intracranial harder than cardiac, which is the bigger target

Can I ask is 4DFlow hard to acquire or process? Really interested in this sequence !
