Explored the local gardens with my #macro lens and 550 nm #infrared filter this past weekend.
The 550 nm filter allows both infrared and visible light through, so there is a little more color in it than pure infrared (which is colorless). It's not a widely used filter but I love it.

I love shooting infrared on a good cloud day. This is 550nm from a favorite beach in North Florida. The beach was behind me. #photography #landscapephotography #infrared #ir #clouds #cloudscape #EastCoastKin #longexposure

Something different. This is a multi-image #panorama of a rainbow made with a full spectrum camera and a 550nm filter. I mean why not. #photography #landscape #ECK #infrared #fullspectrum #fauxcolor #rainbows #clouds

This is a rather odd image. It's not infrared as it looks like it was shot with a 550nm filter. As I was processing the image, I played around with the color channels and for some reason, reduced saturation in the green channel and this happened. #photography #landscape #EastCoastKin

It's #Stunday! I think this Magnolia grandiflora flower is stunning. I photographed it on the tree with a full spectrum #infrared camera at 550nm. It was processed in #Lightroom and #Photoshop. #photography #flowers #bloomscrolling #EastCoastKin #fullspectrum #ir #flowerphotography

Magnolias in the blue sky, 550nm false color #infrared #naturephotography
One of the largest prints I've done, around 90 x 60" (230 x 152). I wish everyone had that kind of wall space because images at scale are great fun.

A bit different. For #ColorADay and #BlueTue. These are camellia flowers floating in water photographed with a #fullspectrum camera at 550nm. I hope you can open it big to see the detail. #photography #flowers #bloomscrolling #artphotography #digitalart #underthefloralspell

This is an infrared image made with a full spectrum camera with a 550nm filter. I love the way it leaves the tree trunks as a more natural color while the leaves are the typical white of IR. This is from a state park near Tallahassee. #photography #landscapephotography #infrared #ir
