SKETCH UPDATE

the 5 of Spirits, a Tarot Card

Inking watching the Olympics.

I dont color, rather, I draw trippy stuff and let your mind wander. Open the inner eye and see it for yourself.

So this is a WIP photograph of my artwork. As you can tell its not a small thing ( 11×14 inches is my usual go-to size) The 5 of Spirits is a personal take on 5 of wands- or w.e. fire sign in tarot yall like. This aint traditional tarot and as a 21st century artist and creative, thats fine. Fleppies are an original species I created and here there are 5 of them, each with their own distinct personality as shown by the environmental effects- the aura- each fairy has. There are circles and guidelines drawn, theyre not perfect nor exact. They're there to help me draw in a skewed perspective because the image is drawn so one can see a "fishbowl" affect. It IS a tarot card after all. There is also half a drawing not shown and it honestly IS from the perspective of the shepherd who stands below this spectacle. What im saying is technically speaking im taking a lot of hours trying to plan my next move. Seriously. Art does take time. Its not willy nilly "oh bird drew a line right thar" no fam, its purposeful. Just like LIVIN LIFE is choosing a purpose and not waiting for one. Again its a Tarot card. Be inspired. Let it talk to you, and hopefully its a Proactive take. The swirls and shapes of my drawings are specifically there to let your brain cut through the voices that tell you its childish to give a piece more attention than 15 seconds- id know ive been to museums and yall got a whole lot of baggage to unpack to truly enjoy art, and in respect, life. 5 of Spirits asks much of you from beyond, a place that many cant relate to because the here and now is DEMANDING. but YOU have to make space, to take the time, to be open to the message. Its never easy, but aa there is 5, youre never alone. Be brave. Will you Join them in the Dance? Will you Come? When you are called, dearly beloved, will you meet me at the gate? Will you come and dance with me?

The 5 of Wands brings the energy of minor conflicts and tests of will. The question today: Is there someone you should be paying more attention to? 🤔

Is the current "trouble" preventing you from seeing a quiet supporter, a needed mentor, or a friend who needs help? 🫶

The 5 of Wands says 'conflict', but in the end it's not worth it, does not matter and does you no good. I advise, you're better off letting it go, or walking away.#minorarcana #tarotcards #tarot #5ofwands #fiveofwands

Is there a bit of friction in your orbit?🔥

The 5 of Wands represents minor conflicts, differing opinions, or clashing ideas. You are being invited to navigate any challenges today with assertiveness (not aggression) and by finding and using your voice.🗣️

Friendly competition can be a healthy thing, something that drives us to push further to see what we are capable of.

Today’s #TarotCardOfTheDay is the #FiveOfWands.

Who are you competing with today? And why? Maybe try to relax and de-escalate a little to avoid conflict before it starts. A little repartee can be fun but don’t poke the bear.
