What's all the fuss about #JaneAusten? I have been heartened by the comments/discussion on this little speculative article I put on #60Odd poems, even though there's no #poetry in it. I've been using Jane to temper my addiction to Charlie. With mixed results. And the watercolour is all my own work!

October challenge. Find an old photo (preferably in a biscuit tin or an older relative's biscuit tin or wherever they keep old photos) and write a poem about it. Post both the photo and the poem on here with the #oddchallenge tag. I'll pick a selection for a #60Odd #poetry page later in the month.

I'm only 60odd and I used to create websites, but the speed of tech change has just left me behind as far as smart phones and digital banking are concerned. I avoid both.
I'm terrified by tech these days. Computer says "no", "authenticate with your mobile phone", all too often these days.

My large multinational company reduced business travel emissions by 60odd% by travelling less but also by switching to trains or from business to economy so this is possible.

In 1987 I went on a two week course at a site near Devizes. I'm told there were 60odd pubs in the town and we made it our mission to have a pint in every one. Might go back one day to see how many are still there.
