The Scottish Highlands are stunningly beautiful, I cannot wait to head back there when time allows it. This is the River Spey at Laggan, the photo was taken a few years ago, using 6stop ND filter.

My last #scape of the day. I promise
This is a color landscape photo of San Francisco and the bay at night from the pier at Crissy Field looking toward the city. This is a long exposure shot of 30 secs giving the cloud and sea a silky appearance. The foreground is made up of the shoreline with rocks scattered on a sandy beach on the immediate right side off the frame. Some are in the water but most are in the sand including two cement pillars lying horizontally on the sand and rocks and encrusted with barnacles. The beach and a sea will move directly up the right side of the frame and then the beach and bay curves inland slightly. Trees are visible beyond the sea wall as is the marina district row houses, brightly lit for the coming night. The rest of the foreground is the bay and the water meeting the shore in a silky white foam meeting shiny reflective wet sand showing the light white blue and orange pink colors of the sky. As the water goes from foreground to middle ground it takes on more of the color pink from the clouds over the city. The city is brightly lit in mostly a yellow tungsten but of course interspersed with every other possible light color as the city juts out across the bay, extended by the bay bridge to treasure island and then across to Oakland also visible in the distance. The clouds above the city are a tungsten yellow orange and smooth as silk from the long exposure and as they move closer to the foreground and higher in the frame take on a cotton candy light pink, all set against a gorgeous light blue that gets deeper as it gets higher in the frame. A slight glow on the top left middle of the frame is evident from the moon just out of frame. In all, the scene seems more at home in a tropical setting than San Francisco.
