F4U-7 Corsair, Flottille 15 F, Aeronavale over Suez 1956. Not a great kit, inaccurate in places, and not my best work. Hindered by my inability to read correctly. The deep sea blue is AK Lacquer, which should be airbrush only. Cue 2 wrecked traditional brushes.

SNCASO SO.8000 "Narval" was a prototype heavy fighter designed at the end of the 1940s at the request of the Aéronavale which wanted a new aircraft for its aircraft carriers, in particular to carry out ground attack missions. It was made obsolete by the arrival of the jet.

One Vichy squadron of MB.175s served in North Africa until 8th November 1942, when most of its aircraft were destroyed on the ground near Oran in an Allied bombing raid. However, limited production was restarted after the war to produce the MB.175T torpedo bomber for the Aéronavale.

One of the most prolific post-war SB2C operators was the French aéronavale; here are Helldivers from the carrier Arromanches (based ashore at Bach Mai airfield), flying support missions over Diên Biên Phu in 1954.
