A5b: The graphic has stats like longest book, number of return clients, total word count, total hours of (tracked) editing, etc. That graphic is fun to share/brag but it also gets me thinking about strengths and weaknesses, and that fuels the goals machine. #ACESchat

A5b: I would point out that I’ve been doing this for almost a decade, that my previous clients have been very satisfied w/ my work. That I can do things that AI can’t, like spot plot holes, point out that a character’s eye color changed between chapters, and make their voice shine. #StetChat 2/2

A5b: When I’m editing sections dealing with rules and how to determine the outcome of something, I am paying very close attention and doing my best to imagine how a new player would feel when reading it. Are they going to be confused? Will they know what they need to do? #ACESchat

A5b: What I did in those instances was to send the author a detailed email laying out my concerns and offering to do a developmental edit instead of a proofread. This does mean that the client would need to spend more time and money on their game. #StetChat 2/3

A5b. Fan-created wikis are some of my favorite nontraditional sources. When proofreading the Halo Encyclopedia, the official Halo website was basically useless for my purposes. But the fan wiki had almost every game-specific entry I needed to look up. #StetChat 2/2
