If you're going outside Amazon for used books, remember that Abebooks is owned by them. Alibris is not and I have been buying from them since the 1990s.
And I usually find better deals on international books via eBay.

For those seeking a way to divest from Bezos, I would recommend that you stop using Amazon. For non-book items, try to shop locally. For books, switch your allegiance to the fabulous Bookshop.org. In both my personal and professional lives I've done so, and it's been great.

AbeBooks has been owned by Amazon since 2008. when we can’t find books through our regular distributors, we send our customers to Biblio.com
It has been many years since I was a bookseller at a small indie shop, but we were posting a bunch of are stock to abebooks. They were good to us at the time.

Has to be said: some of the higher prices listed for autographed copies on A*zon are algorithmically generated by bot-driven seller routines. (Have seen some silly prices for SYWTBAW due to this.) AbeBooks is better for these, but it’s always smart to check.
