Indeed!! My whole regimen of ABVD cost my insurance company something like $2000. With nivolumab my guess is it would be something like $100,000.

Com todos os exames na mão, fui admitida pra uma consulta no Hospital de Base no mesmo dia. Consultei o hemato que passou a ser meu médico 5 dias depois disso. E 2 dias depois da consulta, fiz a primeira quimioterapia (1 de 12 sessões do protocolo ABVD).

Com todos os exames na mão, fui admitida pra uma consulta no Hospital de Base no mesmo dia. Consultei o hemato que passou a ser meu médico 5 dias depois disso. E 2 dias depois da consulta, fiz a primeira quimioterapia (1 de 12 sessões do protocolo ABVD).

I had Cigna deny HALF my ABVD treatments for Hodgekins Lymphoma.

I had to undergo six months of treatment of ABVD, followed by six months of recovery. That started January 1 2001. I'd gone from preparing to move out and go to university with my friends, to being isolated.

I had ABVD, two stem cell transplants, each with ICE, radiation, and what they called protein therapy. The Hodgkins kept coming back. Post Nivolumab I am four years in remission. That it isn’t the first treatment option already is criminal.

I have personally had 6 cycles of abvd chemo therapy through the top of my hands ,countless IV blood draws etc . The only time my hand look like that I was on Cumadin blood thinner right after my STEMI,

I had ABVD (taking out the B partway through) for stage 2B last year. I do wonder how I would’ve faired on Nivo though would always be in favor of taking out the bleo either way

Interesting, the ‘B’ in the ABVD I received in 2013 stood for bleomycin, I didn’t know brentuximab came to substitute it. Progress! Bleo specifically gave me a whole myriad of side effects. Did its job though, thank goodness.
