In the 1970s MOPP & radiation therapy was available as a curative treatment for Hodgkin's disease, ABVD was emerging.
Impossible to judge with the info available, but maybe with "government-run health care" her mother could have lived.

RATHL：打完 2 個 cycle ABVD 後 PET2 陰性者，第 3–6 cycle 拿掉 bleomycin 改為 AVD，PFS 與 OS 不變但肺毒性明顯下降。
ECHELON-1：BV+AVD 用於進行期，尤其 IPS 4–7 的高風險族群。
六個 cycle ABVD 後達代謝性完全緩解者，即使原本 bulky 也可省略鞏固放療。

NLPHL 的兩個臨床特點
淋巴結侵犯以周邊（腋下、腹股溝、頸部）為主，縱膈腔與內臟少見 —— 與 cHL 的頸部加縱膈分布不同。
治療走 B 細胞路線：R-CHOP 或 R-CVP，不是 ABVD。
另外它復發時轉化為 DLBCL 或 THRLBCL 的機率不低，重新切片相當重要。

I had to undergo six months of treatment of ABVD, followed by six months of recovery. That started January 1 2001. I'd gone from preparing to move out and go to university with my friends, to being isolated.
