Propaganda, on line, caused by referendum questions is a much different process of thinking than an election. Binary logic & environmental contexts of a referendum restricts the freedom of a fuller free choice that an election can offer in a broader context.

Court has ruled that the #SeparatistPetition can continue gathering signatures, but #Elections #Alberta
cannot verify/count signatures, nor bring to Alberta Govt for referendum. Until ruling on the question from #FirstNations and #IndigenousPeople’s, they are stuck in phase 1.

Aaron Brown, who used the Red Deer supervised consumption site since it opened in 2018, sued the province to keep it open.

The judge said he couldn’t prove his right to safery was infringed. She allowed it to close.

He recently had a near-fatal overdose.

His case was dismissed by Court of King’s Bench Justice Debra Yungwirth last August, who concluded Mr. Brown was unable to prove that his rights had been violated. She said the government did not have a constitutional obligation to fund specific health services and that alternative resources were available to him.
