Thinking about the courage of AB Hernandez yesterday. We had a chance to meet her and her mom at the Moorpark meet. They are both fearless and compassionate. The hateful targeting of a child athlete is unforgivable.

It doesn't seem right because it isn't. Just days ago, CIF made a rule change. Whichever place AB earned, she would have to share with the next girl. Even if she cleared the next height, CIF would not have gave her the sole title. And so, we tell CIF that #ABWon, not the second place girls.

She had set PR's in all her events, and is now the state champion in the triple jump and the high jump.
