I got deep in the weeds on the bioterrorism topic, and was appointed as an ACLUTX rep on a governor's bioterrorism prevention task force. At the end of the day, Texas passed a statute with many more protections than any other state (in part bc we were the last state to have a session after 9/11).

Logic doesn't even pass basic scrutiny. If gender change court orders are invalid due to these agencies being non-parties, then legal name changes would be invalid in the state of Texas as well. There's so many angles to attack these issues from, but I see nothing from ACLUTX or anyone else. Why?
