Anyway the award symposium for Eric Jacobsen at #ACSFall2025 was outstanding. Scott Miller, Abby Doyle, Sarah Reisman, Donna Blackmond and Eric, all going really deep on mechanism. One of the best 5-talk lineups I can remember.

I hate being this guy because I really like Bluesky relatively speaking…
But there were 10 meeting-related chemsky skeets today and maybe 20 more with the #ACSFall2025 hashtag and the vast majority were from ACS itself or the NSF C-CAS. This is why it’s sad that Twitter got deliberately wrecked.

Big ups to ACS for providing complimentary childcare at #ACSFall2025. Attending conferences is enough logistical work as-is. Not having worry about week-long arrangements for kiddos makes a huge difference, especially to early-career folks who are more likely to have young kids.
