I picked this book up at the #HayFestival having heard of it via the Science Book Prize & I’m already loving it. Thank you @weinersmith.bsky.social & @zachweinersmith.bsky.social #ACityOnMars

Unexpectedly finished #HistoryOfTheHobbit mid-cruise with no Internet; 23% of it was index. Had not loaded @zachweinersmith.bsky.social's #ACityOnMars on my Kindle, so I started @mytholder.bsky.social's #TheSwordDefiant earlier than planned. So far it's proving awesomely fun.

Got my copy of #ACityOnMars by @zachweinersmith.bsky.social on Saturday! (It had been delivered to my friend’s home, because who knows where I will be living at any given point.) Hope to read it soon, but it all depends on how much my brain wants to engage with written text these days.

Hi @zachweinersmith.bsky.social,

Is there likely to be an Audible or Audio version of “A City on Mars” please?

It sounds really fascinating and funny but unfortunately #LongCovid / chronic fatigue etc means reading books is no longer possible. 😕

Thank you. 🙂📚🎧

Just finished #aclashofkings earlier today, and that was a good read. But, I am already excited about my next book: #acityonmars

Now to find the time to quietly read this gem by Kelly and @zachweinersmith.bsky.social

So far #ACityOnMars is not making me not want to play the #TerraformingMars RPG when it comes out - just to make sure I do an even better job of it!

(Sadly I don't seem to be sparking any interest in my local group. Fortunately these days it might be possible to get into a game online.)

Finished #TheSwordTriumphant last night - it kept me awake and did not let me sleep until I got there. Posted a review on it - more a review of the series - at www.goodreads.com/review/show/... .

Next up is #ACityOnMars, now on Kindle. Will it make me want to reread Red Mars (et al.) more, or less?

Weird question. I mostly read on a Kindle with a big font in the hot tub. Works great. #ACityOnMars by @zachweinersmith.bsky.social is lots of color and illustrations so won't work that way. My page-size color eInk isn't waterproof. So I guess print is best? I get far less reading time for print.
