Happy #ADHDAwarenessMonth! 🧡

I'm manifesting more research for those of us who have been double nerfed (AuDHD).

AuDHD is entirely different experience than "just" ADHD or autism, and we need more attention on this.

We are more than our perceived “shortcomings.”

More than what people find inconvenient about us.

More than what annoyed our grade school teachers.

So. Much. More.

Neurodiversity isn’t new.
What’s new is that we’re finally talking about it.

ADHD, dyslexia, autism, dyspraxia, PDA, DID, Tourette’s, sensory profiles…have always been part of the story.

The difference now is language, visibility & community.

As a Bipolar/ADHD author I allow myself distractions during my writing sessions - it's part of my process and it works for me

The ritalin helps a great deal though, and routine is my godsend, just getting kicked out from routine is hell

60% of youth in custody are diagnosed with ADD or ADHD – compared to just 11% nationally.

Kids need care, not cages.
