For example, I think you dropped #FlourishedPeony after 1 episode! - but for those of us who got into FP it is as emotionally consuming as ADWAD seems to be for you guys (although clearly they are completely different dramas, with completely different emotional templates)

For context, I had just come off of watching #PrisonerofBeauty, so I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to see a - as I perceived it (rather unfairly) - parody of the same drama

I can totally see why some people loved ADWAD - it’s playful & meta & very well made
But some of us love a good historical action drama with an unlikely romance (female generals weren’t a common thing back in the day etc etc)

this one for me has to be ADWAD mainly bc i haven't watched the other (and tbh i'm only on ep25 of ADWAD)
HOWEVER it has had a *lot* of oh sh*t!!!! moments right beside some hilarity and i find that entertaining 🤣🤣🤣

I was going to suggest this as well - ADWAD is so good on every level. Great script, great performances (including deft screwball comedy from the leads), incredible costumes, big concept - even the score is incredibly well done. Very very fun.

I enjoyed both shows plenty, but ADWAD is just the more well done, competently written of the two, so it gets my vote.
Granted, #ADWAD is fun. But my heart aches while watching the squad here, as I am reminded of the squad goals in #AJourneyToLove. #YuShisan you are simply unparalleled.
