Who will hold ADWR accountable? They are also allowing non-compliant groundwater pumping in the Tucson AMA for the construction of the #projectblue data centers. Everyone knows about it, it's been going on for months, and no one will do the bare minimum to stop it, or fine the perpetrators $10K/day

A new resource created by the Water Justice Hub, the Australian Drinking Water Record (ADWR), hopes to fill those gaps. Here, it’s creators explain what it is, how it was created and why it’s important. Across both poor and rich countries, some people still line up to collect water or bottled water or cannot access acceptable water. There are regular news reports of contaminated water sources and communities continue to raise their concerns about their drinking water access and quality, diet quality and ability of people to absorb nutrients. Persistent lack of access to safe, clean, and acceptable drinking water reinforces water injustices, increases health risks and widens social inequalities and food insecurity through its influence on food preparation and nutrition absorption. In Australia, critical data gaps remain in relation to drinking water quality, particularly in regional and remote Australia.
