I was AFSOC. The ppl we dealt with were dangerous. My injuries accumulated over the years and the main reason I'm not still in is because my body couldn't perform at the level it needed to.

I know a little bit about taking down dictators. I can't say when, where, who or how, but I played a supporting role in the removal of a dictator as one of my last missions in AFSOC. And, I hope I never have to eat Usban again.

I hate war. I’ve fought in places as an AFSOC Airman-Soldier most Americans never heard of. I’ve always been grateful those problems weren’t here. But I always knew it could happen here. Its existed in the back of my mind as my worst fear, and now, we’re closer than ever.

I still occasionally take on things that require skills developed in AFSOC, particularly in wildlife conservation overseas. I have better personal protocols than the yahoos running fed gov. Sensitive comms are in-person only and I don't work with anyone I haven't known for several years and trust.

Thats an AFSOC HC or MC.
Thats what AFSOC does. They train to do exactly that in exactly that environment. Their entire reason for existing is to do that kind of high risk stuff on CSAR missions.

I was AFSOC Tier 1, and because I embedded with Delta/DEVGRU, I decided to wait until I was out before marriage and family. But due to what might be coming and maybe having to fight again... Yesterday, I made the "Hey babe, so I guess something bad happened..." video with instructions for if I die.

Here’s a shocking number: in military special operations (JSOC/AFSOC) the number of Black people serving is around 3%. One of the best PJs I ever worked with is Black. It’s not because they can’t get thru the training pipelines, it’s because gatekeeping. It’s only going to get worse with Hegseth.
