The Darshan team and ALCF have release a new collection of I/O profiling logs from the Polaris supercomputer’s production workloads. Surely will be an excellent insight into how I/O needs of real #HPC apps have evolved.

Also, this non-competitive deal was announced out of cycle for ALCF-next and OLCF-next, so it can't be seen as a successor to Aurora and Frontier. Solstice would be over 200 MW, which will have a power bill over $100 M/year. That's way beyond lab discretionary funds.
