The ALGOP has had a ultra majority for decades.
My column from Monday. The emerging consensus to drop Alabama’s grocery tax (yes, non-Alabamians, we tax food) is a reminder that Alabama is only a low-tax state if you own a forest or reside in the top federal income tax bracket, and that we need top-to-bottom tax reform.
Commentary: The grocery tax must go. But Alabama's tax system needs a complete overhaul. | Alabama Reflector
Alabama taxes people based largely on how important the state government views them. And that makes life in this state more expensive.

Tommy's Santa Rosa Beach condo is where he lives, and has lived through his Senate term. Allegedly. Just ask any local there. Not in Alabama. Let's see how ALGOP skirts around this. Tommy crushed McFeeters in the primary.
In Hoover awaiting ALGOP’s decision on Ken McFeeters’ challenge to Sen. Tuberville’s residency. Closing arguments have begun at the law office in downtown Birmingham, then deliberation. More soon.

Our ALGOP has a deep bench so the US Senate may get someone equally egregious. But hand it to tubby, that MF does insider trading like a champ!

What will happen to Alabama’s robust Automobile Manufacturing industry if Trump’s Tariffs are levied?

Why is the @ALGOP not pushing back against Trump’s policies that will harm Alabama?

You would think Republicans wouldn’t want to risk losing the governorship. But some of the ALGOP are so arrogant, they actually feel and have verbalized publicly they own the Alabama Supreme Court and will get a favorable ruling in spite of it. Why risk it all for Tuberville?
Where does Tommy Tuberville live? Florida or Alabama? If he wants to run for Alabama governor, he needs to put this issue to bed. Release your state tax returns and show us, Senator — if you can.
