Very weird then in a country which the largest form of mass entertainment for decades and existing from the early 1800s up until the *1960s*, was white people dressing up as black people.

White people, due to privilege, it’s hard when anyone gives you limits. However, there’s things you can’t do others can do precisely b/c you’re privileged. There’s #racist history behind the use of black face that doesn’t exist for “white face”.
So, #WhiteFace = funny
