The for-in in-flight abort is the loud symptom of a shared enumeration CURSOR, and the cursor is the bigger defect A quiet-box drive of the GitLab mirror aborted at ~118 s on "a for-in deletion check is already in flight on this iterator", reached through JS_FlowResume ← flow_step. The coordinate was relayed against 78a053f5 and the submodule has moved twice since; re-derived at ed70812 before touching anything. WHY IT FIRES. `pending` lives on JSForInIterator, a C record hung off the iterator object, and `grep FOR_IN_ITERATOR engine/host/solver/cow.c` answers NOTHING — none of that record is captured by the per-flow COW delta. A fork copies the frame and the operand stack holds the iterator as a JSValue, which is a REFERENCE, so both arms walk ONE JSForInIterator. Arm A sets `pending` and parks inside the `has` request; arm B resumes at the same opcode, re-enters, and finds the bit up. That is scheduling-dependent by construction, which fits an abort that fired on a quiet box and not under load. AND THE CURSOR IS IN THE SAME UNCAPTURED RECORD, WHICH IS THE FINDING. `idx` is the enumeration's position, so two arms of a fork taken inside `for (k in o)` SHARE it: each advance moves the other's, and the two arms split one enumeration between them, each seeing a proper subset of the keys with nothing anywhere to say so. A crash is the state you find; this is the one you do not. It is also not an edge case — §Solver-half REQUIRES an iteration over unknown input to fork each iteration as its own parkable flow, so a for-in over a server-injected record is exactly the shape that forks inside the loop. Without the assert it is additionally a leak and a cross-timeline delivery: arm B overwrites a dup'd atom arm A still owns, and the deliver hands arm A's candidate to whichever arm arrives first. THIS COMMIT RECORDS THE DIAGNOSIS AND DOES NOT FIX IT, deliberately. §Architecture's primitive for this exact shape is cow_capture_host_record(obj, rec, &LAYOUT) at the point a …
