Just got a call with the name of my new rheumatology provider, a DNP/APRN. I read her About Me page, and I’m so impressed. IDK where she went to school, but her philosophy of care is SO GOOD. Feeling more hopeful, looking forward to meeting her this winter.

They have enough experience (theoretically) to hit the ground running and help on a temp basis
I was an APRN with just one year experience

Yep. My CT was rescheduled for two months after the initial appointment for which I'd already waited weeks. I was lucky I only had to wait a few weeks for my initial visit with a nephrologist. I'll probably never see him again as I was passed on to his (very competent) APRN.
