San Galgano

It was an adventure, negotiating w/ basic Italian to find a bus from Siena to the ruined abbey. There was one bus there and one back. We arrived late afternoon and I fortunately had ASA400 film. By 6 pm it was pitch black.

CONTAX AriaはフィルムのDXコードでASA自動設定できる機体なのだが、どうも前の持ち主様がカスタム設定したフィルム感度設定が残っていたらしくPortra 160通したのにASA400の設定になっていたっぽい…😅
それにしてもKodak Portra 160の色味が好きすぎてやばい！お安くないのがネック…

普段ASA400(ゴメンなさいISOよりASAの方がピンとくる世代なもんでw)のトライXしか使ってないくせに、リバーサルフィルムだけはASA25とか超低感度の方が粒子の大きさが違うとか語って使ってました。はい

という記憶だったのだが、画像検索してみるとAvでなくてTvで書いてあるな。でも俺の心の中のイマジナリー露出計はF8固定でシャッター速度で調節するようになってる。

富士そうとう速い！とおもったらASA400だた。でも若干富士の方が1EVくらい開けてる感じｗ

KODAK派の俺は晴れた屋外が1/125、F8と覚えてる。

Well with film we had no choice. You picked your film and that was it for the whole roll. I rarely went over ASA400. Often I used Velvia. I still think film looks better but I can’t be bothered with all the processing involved these days.
