I come from a non-eye contact culture. Irony of ironies I fell in love with and married a non-Native with ASDlevel1. No danger of eye-contact at our house.

I took this photo yesterday to show folks at work what a certain kind of earplug for neurodivergent folks looks like (you can barely see it). Anyway, I unexpectedly liked this image a lot, so you get to see it too.

Sensory sensitive not just a little bit annoying. It's not just I can distract myself from it. It takes over my body in way it is really uncomfortable and really painful. It can make it hard to be in certain environments. There is also sensory joy.
