It’s obvious the biggest thing ASTP/ONC is fighting against is a lot of people don’t believe the information blocking reports will go anywhere after past experience.
A lot of the time at this event was spent encouraging reports and emphatically saying they will take action.

In addition, it finishes by noting that a product can be both a "medical device" that is regulated by the FDA and a "decision support intervention" that is subject to requirements implemented by ASTP/ONC (well-known for their work on certified health IT and EHR-related technologies).
