There is absolutely no way Starlink is providing better (faster or more reliable) Internet vs the wired/fiber connections every airport already has. StarLink avgs 100Mbps down & 10-20 Mbps up. That's about 1/3 the avg of a US household, and 1000x less than fiber. StarLink has weather outages too!

Turns out the Senate avgs *exactly* 40 hrs per week of work, not counting recesses for wkly meetings. This puts them at a little less than 2 Unanimous Consents per hour (1.84 to be exact). The opposition party could oppose business as usual twice an hour - but they aren't. bsky.app/profile/sena...

it's a good question. i don't have a great answer. one theory is that differential turnout among democrats is driving up margins closer to the trump net approval number, but that wouldn't necessarily be predictive for nov 26. at the end of the day we don't know and a good model avgs lots of data!
