My partner is at #AWP2025 while I'm at home filling candles orders and building Canvas sites for my upcoming creative writing classes. Which one of us is having the better Spring break?

I can’t be at #awp2025 but talking with warm, insightful, & dazzling writers like @poetmaggiesmith helps remind me I’m part of a community and an art form that celebrates each of our voices and lived experience.

Some obligatory amazing airplane photos. The best part of flying is always, always, the view. Did I write a poem? MAYBE! #AWP2025

Hello, friends! I’ll be at #AWP2025 for a day. I’ll be signing books for the @sarabandebooks.bsky.social, and I’m also moderating a panel ft. some brilliant poets (see below).

Will you be there? If so, let’s hang, or at least exchange enthusiastic nods across a crowded convention center!

Calling all #AWP2025 attendees! Our virtual panel 'Fat, Flawed, & Fabulous: Writing Fat & Queer Narratives in Fiction & Nonfiction' is live on the conference website! I had a blast recording this panel with C. Adán Cabrera, Tiff Joshua TJ Ferentini, and August Grimm.

I'm in this episode. At #awp2025, they recorded volunteer readers. I was there promoting @saaramyrene.bsky.social's book "Chamber After Chamber." Jackson chose one of her poems for the Harvard Review early in her career, a pub that told her to keep going. A full-circle moment, full of joy and grief
"I want to thank those poets whose gifts and passion for language is nothing less than inspiring and uplifting. I have tremendous hope for our future.”
