Disabled people have been hit by ‘quiet' cuts to the support that allows them to work, forcing some to turn down employment while Labour emphasises the need to buildup the workforce

MPs have launched a full Parliamentary inquiry into the controversial ‘Access to Work’ (AtW) scheme for disabled people, after it left more than 62,000 people stuck in backlogs.

Today, we launch #AccessToNowhere - a campaign led by disabled people demanding urgent reform to Access to Work. This scheme is meant to support disabled people in employment. Instead, it’s failing us. - 62,000 people are stuck in a backlog waiting for decisions. - 33,000 are still waiting to be paid.
