@nonsensicalfox.neocities.org and I spent the evening fixing the neighbour girl’s Macbook M1. It had a flickering touch bar and kernel panics. While updating, it claimed 500% CPU usage lmao. Updating it to Tahoe fixed it? It looked like it was reflashed the touch bar firmware on boot

Encoding a video in CleanShot. It’s hardly using any CPU or GPU at all. Does this mean it’s poorly optimised, or does it mean it’s using some kind of hardware encoder that’s not showing up in ActivityMonitor? I would have expected it to essentially max out the GPU.
