#AdTech's
Now and forever, I recommend AdNauseam, to throw some sand at the face of advertisers and get them off your trail. It's an ad blocker that silently clicks ads at random to mess adtech's profile of you. You can even use it on Firefox for Android.

Yup. The mass surveillance system set up by the tech giants is now being weaponised to repress the population in western countries.

Meanwhile in UK, data protection regulator was redirected by govt to have regard to GDP and innovation, and shelved enforcement against adtech's GDPR known breaches.

💯 what Grace said☝️

I understand what the OP is saying but I work in this space for my job & "consent" is absolutely the proper & correct term for what we're talking ab. eg. All those annoying cookie banners you're always clicking on? Those are "Consent Mgmt Platforms".

I have no idea what this means. It seems like a technical argument that GPC will somehow destroy targeted ads, but really, the argument is “we don’t want consumers to opt-out.”

Which has been adtech’s position all along, which means these are twenty year old talking points.
