Season 3 sweet pepper update: adaption to our weather, our bugs, and no babying: win! she got 80% germination w/o heat. Today, half (150) the starts move outside 24/7 for further selection for thriving in our 45-65f April temps & damping off resistance

Great to see our groundnut (Apios americana) experiment working.

We planted some in a corner of the tunnel last year and they did reasonable well. We might try to see how a couple outside this season.

Planted corn yesterday into dry dust, set up irrigation, and we got a blessed, soaking rain

This is my first year with sweet corn, pre-sprouted to quicken the season, covered in anti-crow cloth (they pull up all the seedlings). Siri helped chase bugs
