Nessa no Haoh Gandalla, which I only saw for the first time this year, does something similar. Sure, the day is saved from evil... but it comes with a major cost, both for the main cast as well as the world itself.

Life doesn't just return to normal at the end of this, by any means.

There were lots of posh people there when I worked - including the Mayor/ess of Westminster, who famously fell asleep during Tory Party Conference.

The vibe is different. More gossipy / behind backs vs advertising’s blunt / directness. Imagine that has changed since PR’s made more ads.

Are AI platforms building advertising’s next walled gardens?
First came the question of what an advertisement inside an AI assistant should look like. Then came another: what happens when the platform selling the ad is also building products that compete with the advertisers buying it? OpenAI has already offered the first glimpse of that tension.
