and for folks who have an interest in freedom of expression or avoiding excessive govt regulation of private commerce, the answers we have to find are generally the Least Convenient, and countercultural — self-education, and a lifetime of near-weird skepticism and awareness of advertising’s effect.

I think it's pretty funny, actually, that the Superbowl is TV advertising's biggest, most important day of the year and the vast majority of people watching the Superbowl are in crowded parties or bars where its impossible to hear the audio of these commercials.
