Akabi for Tavares.
"Okay guys, hear me out."
"No, Ares, just no."
"Aw come on, Karlach."
"Ares, he has no legs."
"Shapeshift."
"He called you stinky."
"I can fix that."
"HE TURNED YOU INTO CHEESE!"
*Jaheira sighs, grabs them both by an ear and drags them away from the Dijinni.*

Nyx was so fed up with everything, being sent to Dino land was a last straw. Girly pop was considering going murder hobo on Akabi right then and there but then remembered that morals are a thing. 💅🏼

Bonus: the first full conversation Thomas ever has in his life in Auran only is with fucking Akabi in the Circus of the Last Days, when Thomas comes stomping back through the portal after Akabi sent him to Chult.
They have a fierce, fast argument that sounds like how a hurricane would speak. :')

And it just hadn't come up in conversations with Gale, who probably knew but nothing had really led to that topic, so...
Anyways, as far as Akabi goes, Tommy's able to use an invisible mage hand and worked out what the fuck was going on. I don't think he anticipated the reaction though.

It's fortunate that the gang had been there around Akabi and laying into him, honestly; I think it's the only reason a portal back would even have EXISTED to find?
Djinni are powerful, after all. Had they not regained so much of their power back and been able to lay out the risks so swiftly? YEAH.

Fun one for my Tommy! It's how he found out he could speak in the Primordial tongues naturally; he and Akabi had a fierce debate in Auran when he got back after Akabi insulted him in it.
...when he got back he was bloody, had Nyrulna and was PISSED, to put it mildly.

Akebi’s Sailor Uniform
This is an amazing cgdct anime with an absolutely stacked VA lineup and insanely good art. I loved this anime a lot, it felt so refreshing and free watching akabi, and did I mention how good that art is? The music is also really amazing, definitely recommend it

I stand by my choices
Since I started playing it, a couple of friends and I have treated our BG3 multiplayer playthrough as a D&D campaign. We meet once a week if possible and play for a few hours. It has been a really enjoyable way to play and one of my favorite more recent moments of Act 3 was this one. #bg3

What was your Tav/Durge’s impression of Akabi at the Circus? Did they get cheesed? Did they get sent to Dino Land?
In the canon playthrough, Astarion dealt with Akabi, not Ria. Her boyfriend got turned into a cheese and she stood there making baffled noises and keeping an eye out for mice

#TavQOTD Woohoo! There’s a festival in Baldur’s Gate today! Food, music, dancing, and lots and lots of wine await! How is your Tav/Durge spending the day?
Depends on if Ria can get herself to Chill. Light busking, possibly finding out how much of a scam each game is. Sightseeing. Definitely dancing.
