Preordered this through a link that Alcest shared - came all the way from Austria and only cost me £15? Weird, but I’m delighted.

Ich habe heute Agriculture gehören und ich gerne, aber was ist der Tee/Probleme mit Alcest? Ich mag Agriculture wirklich sehr und würde sie nächstes Jahr gerne in Großbritannien live sehen

I'd recommend the blackgaze tourbill I recently saw of Alcest, Deafheaven, Mastodon
Hey who has a recommendation for some shoegaze that will obliterate my ability to think about anything at all if I play it loud enough in headphones

Est-ce que j'ai pris des places pour Alcest à Annecy et Orléans ? Peut-être...
Est-ce que j'hésite à en prendre une à Tourcoing ? Personne ne peut le savoir...

Here we have Alcest cementing themselves as one of the most relevant bands in the world, deserving of comparisons with TOOL and Anathema for example

I *love* Alcest. Their last album (Les Chants de l'aurore) was one of the best metal albums I've ever heard.

Currently my music listening is predictable in an entirely different way as I'm trying to clear the 'unplayed' backlog on my plex server

Have seen Mastodon twice on this recent tour. I’d grade the album similarly with an A-. John Baizley has been an excellent addition to the live shows. Also, Deafheaven is a spectacular live band and Alcest is great too.

Alcest really is the perfect embodiment of how I imagine the score for Blood Mage & Serpent Throne and its yet-to-be-named sequel would sound. 🎧

(n.b. Mastodon isn't really blackgaze, and Deafheaven on this tour was leaning more into hardcore, but both Deafheaven and Alcest have fair amounts of 'gaze in their discographies)
