On the bright side, using AlexSidebar and referring to the Observation documentation, it correctly suggested the @Observable macro! This kind of contextual awareness is 🔥

Absolutely. I’m a big fan of #AlexSideBar. I still use Cursor but there’s just something more about working in the native environment. So I tend to use it about 70% of the time.

That said, I ran into a few issues:
• Scrolling slows down as the conversation gets longer. So I close and reopen again and start a new conversation.
• The AlexSidebar window sometimes disappears when applying changes.
• Even after creating a new file, it would still show and update the old one.

Woke up to the new OpenAI update to work with Mac apps & thought: "Oh wow, they went there!"

Gave it a try: neat UI/UX. I still think #AlexSideBar is a better option for Xcode.

However, this works across multiple apps / terminals and that's pretty neat.

But my two cents so far though: I tried it excitedly earlier today and it seemed we still have to manually copy and paste back in the editor. It’s great but just on that point, I’ll stick to #AlexSideBar (Cursor-like, but fully/natively integrated into Xcode) for now.
