New state-of-the-art EV battery recycling plant to be opened in Plymouth, Cornwall by UK-based Altilium .
The new plant will have the capacity to process scrap from over 150,000 EVs per year, producing 30,000 MT of CAM.

10. Marubeni 🇯🇵 announced that it invested $5 million in the battery recycler Altilium 🇬🇧 to help expand operations, which aims to recycle 24,000 EV battery packs by 2026 and 150,000 by 2030.

Check out Altilium in the U.K.

They have a process to recover a higher percentage, and they get ALL of the rare components back through their process.

Mining companies are investing in them because it is cheaper than extracting the minerals in the first place!
