Some brain anatomy and function. The Amgydala id often known as the threat detector of the brain. The amygdala sends a signal to the hypothalamus, which activates the sympathetic nervous system. This causes the body 2 release adrenaline, which increases heart rate, blood pressure, & breathing rate.

Im almost finished with Amgydala by Sam Fennah and I wont lie yall it feels like the book was going strong and then 2/3 of the way through he decided he needed to include Every Single one of his OCs and their own sideplots to the point of forgetting what the actual plot is

And our clan needed protection. The amgydala serves an important role. My article is not a condemnation of those with larger amygdalae, but a lesson on influence, understanding additional factors of our audience, and the need for better communication.

Making informed decisions matters. Not decisions based upon an amgydala hijack, or emotional manipulation.

he was naunced about the more likely better outcome with Harris than was ever possible with the "protest" amgydala type votes, he is playing a long game and playing it well.. using logic and reason against a short term "emotional"protest vote which ultimsetly mad it all worse

3/ I suspect this is a trauma response that allows him to carry on without having to bear blame for his situation (ie divorce, end of career) ; he can externalise blame on others than admitting any personal responsibility.
Basically, its an amgydala hijack as a constant overwriting the truth.
