By categorising Aboriginal people as sub-human “flora and fauna” (which some Aboriginal (and natural and naturist) people proudly identify as to this day—as NOT being SEPARATE (‘DIVORCED’?) from nature), the expansionist British Empire could blithely extend its colonising agenda into and onto ALL already-inhabited Ngurra (country) without having to recognise ANY territorial rights or claims asserted by the Aboriginal people whose homelands they were invading and transforming. In fact, from their sociopathically ethnocentric perspective, the British CRIMINALISED Aboriginal people who (“offensively” to the British Empire’s sensitivities) defended their mundane human rights. In 1968 (once the non-Aboriginal human population well-exceeded the Aboriginal population), those claiming to be ‘the (representative😵‍💫) authorities’ in the land hosted/held a referendum in which the general population resoundingly recognised Aboriginal people as human. The colonising agenda (and ethnocentrism), and the fallout from such heartless barbarism continues (sanctimoniously) to this day.
